Today I saw some more elegant bison and elk. I arrived at Storm Point, where you can see the Yellowstone Lake from an outlook. As I was walking, there were a lot of bees and wildflowers. Although it was pretty, I was traumatized at the sight of so many bees. When I arrived at the outlook, I saw a marmot family. They were looking at me in curiosity. I guess they get a lot of visitors, so they were used to people. The viewpoint was pretty, but I always focus more on wildlife rather than the scenery. As we came back from the standpoint into the bee terror trail, we saw a juvenile rubber boa snake. To end the day, we saw a large elk herd and elk running in the water from some predator. We couldn’t see the predator, but something spooked them for sure!
